Nad Spiro (the enigmatic alias of Rosa Arruti) returns with Limbo Channel, a hauntingly beautiful voyage into liminal soundscapes. A cornerstone of Barcelona’s experimental scene for decades, Arruti developed this work during her residency at The Rose Hill Studios, following her performance at The Wire magazine’s 40th-anniversary event.

Born from nocturnal live broadcasts on Slack City FM, the album is a masterclass in radio-art culture. It features a complete sound-world of cavernous spaces, textural drones, fractured guitars, and mangled voices. Throughout the week-long transmission, Arruti acted as a "symbolic antenna," collaborating with a stellar list of guests including Mark Pilkington (Teleplasmiste), Lars Müller, and Atsuko Kamura.

From the glitchy, vibraphone-punctured drones of Malfi Freq to the hypnotic grooves of the closing track Solvent, Limbo Channel is both expansive and claustrophobic. It is a perfect distillation of Nad Spiro’s idiosyncratic style: a fluid exchange of imaginary, pirate, and alien signals captured in the dead of night.
