Wah Wah Wino / Ireland / RE 2026
Originally assembled across three years by Morgan Buckley, KWALK remains one of the most singular entries in Dublin imprint Wah Wah Wino’s catalog. Reissued in a 2026 edition with revised artwork, this continuous 54-minute vinyl mixtape bypasses standard club structures in favor of an erratic, open-ended collage.
Gathering material from key label figures -including Davy Kehoe, Morgan Buckley, Olmo, and veteran Irish composer Roger Doyle- the multi-track sequence operates on home recordings, tape loops, raw synth sketches, and fleeting instrumental passages. Shifting unpredictably between krautrock, ambient, downtempo, and leftfield folk, KWALK delivers a disorienting, late-night listening experience where genre boundaries simply dissolve.
