Weighted My Hand / 2025 / CS
Unemployed, post-lockdown momentum. Winter nights spent hitting, shaking, throwing things at a microphone, turning amplifiers off and on again, playing effects pedals like a concert pianist. Simultaneously world building and world ignoring. Stopped smoking weed and got into the good stuff, namely: bells, shakers, whistles, reeds, white noise. 2021 was a hell of a time.
Put music aside for a while, not sure why. Encountered a catastrophic hard drive rupture. A dismal lesson in enjoying the journey. 9 songs lost, 4 songs salvaged, this is they, close to finishing but not quite done, unable to be completed. Nothing doing. Released in the interest of perpetuity, honouring a previous iteration of oneself.
