Mascarpone Discos / Spain / 2025 / CS
This album was recorded at the church of the small village of Beauregard (Lot, France) on December 14th 2024, at the Mascarpone Soirée that we celebrated that day with other acts like Fiesta En El Vacío, Mayeul Irlinger and Sentuhlà. Using the church's own harmonium, Delphine was able to display her sensitivity to the instrument, delighting all those who were there to listen. Her delicate and angelic musical beauty captivated everyone.
She and the audience were there, but it seemed as if every note from the harmonium transported you to another place, another time. Her dreamlike music pierces your sacred heart and breaks down walls, making you braver. It makes those who listen to it fear death no more. Her music questioning the earthly logic of life and death, asceticism and impiety.- lets her fantasies intensify her spirit, lifting the music towards the heavens. It's not sacred music, per se, but it is unashamedly mystical.
Her iconoclastic music can be interpreted as a personal cartography, based on an intuitive approach to composition. She has developed an intimate and multifaceted musical universe, in constant metamorphosis. She lets the organ wrap into her voice, connecting us directly to a unique mode of emotional expression by urging us - the listener - to project our own meaning onto her abstracted words.
