Founded in 2004, Neue Weltumfassende Resistance (NWR) is the collaborative project of two burning artistic souls: Gabi Delgado (DAF, Delkom, DAF Dos) and Marc Hurtado (Étant Donnés, Sol Ixent). After two decades since its inception and following Delgado’s passing in 2020, this first album finally emerges as a testament to their "golden alliance."
The essence of NWR is a dialogue of music and poetry transmitted between Germany, Spain, and France. Conceived as a 360° cinematic voyage, the record captures the collision of two creative forces through a relentless drive for absolute freedom. Without fixed structures or predetermined plans, Delgado and Hurtado swap roles between electronics and vocals in a movement of cosmic and poetic resistance.
Recorded and refined during pivotal encounters in Berlin and Córdoba between 2007 and 2018, this debut stands as a sonic edifice of "grace, madness, and fire"—a definitive shared fight for artistic and spiritual freedom.
