Reissued by Strut in partnership with Art Yard, Nidhamu is the second volume documenting Sun Ra's historic December 1971 trip to Egypt. Recorded live at the home of Hartmut Geerken in Heliopolis and during a session for Cairo TV, this album showcases the Arkestra in a remarkably focused setting. The material spans hypnotic electric piano motifs, organ improvisations, and early Moog synthesizer textures, alongside vocal chants and traditional percussion work. Remastered from the original master tapes and presented in its original Thoth Intergalactic artwork.
