The first collaborative release between cellist Leila Bordreuil and organist Kali Malone. Minimalist in style yet expansive in effect, the music unfolds like beads on a string, punctuated by silence and deep breaths. Recorded by candlelight at the Temple of Saint-Théodule in La Tour-de-Peilz, Switzerland, the music balances patience and intensity, composition and chance, severity and tenderness.
