alchemy of wood and wind
membranophones
calling
oak trees above the clouds
tower of sound
rainclouds over the horizon
a gentle wafting spreads its arms
now and then echoing
drops of water in the sand
in the shadow of a levitating stone
dancing flame
the blue plant has many colors

Museum Of No Art is the pseudonym of the artist and musician
Mona Steinwidder. The pieces on the album A Serpent Called Emit document a two-year engagement with the clarinet and other woodwind instruments. In the search for simplicity, one encounters complexity. But the Museum discovers connections between the poles and lets them circle around each other. Impurities have found their place in it and hard cuts are intended to underline the volatility
of the moment, to highlight and admire imperfection.
